Launch at METEC & 6th ESTAD in Düsseldorf Primetals Technologies – a renowned plant manufacturer, provider of automation and digitalization solutions and metallurgical service partner – and ABF GmbH – a specialist in automation solutions for yards – are entering into a pioneering strategic partnership.
In order to meet the increasing demands of the metal industry, it is no longer enough to optimize individual production areas. Primetals Technologies and ABF GmbH have therefore decided to pool their expertise and jointly develop a networked and fully automated yard system. This innovative solution combines software know-how, automation technology, logistics expertise and domain know-how to offer steel producers worldwide decisive advantages.
During a 45-minute signing ceremony, speakers from both companies will talk about the growing demand for connected and fully automated systems in the metals industry, the rationale behind the partnership, the key elements of this collaboration and the benefits it will bring to steel producers around the world.
