In 1998, ABF moved to the Südpark site in Linz and, following an extension to the building in 2001, we are now delighted to be setting the next milestone in ABF’s development: ABF 3. Long-standing customer relationships based on partnership are at the heart of ABF – this is accompanied by successful projects, the scope and number of which are constantly increasing.
The ABF 3 building extension will enable us to pursue this growth course even more strongly in the coming years and therefore be able to offer our customers more extensive new projects while continuing to provide the best quality and customer service.

Just like our customer projects, a construction project like ABF 3 requires detailed planning.
The initial work began back in 2018 and the plans were revised again and again over time until the first draft was finally shown at the 30th anniversary celebrations in early 2019.
However, a lot has happened since then: the original plans quickly turned out to be too small and further optimizations were made until the decision to actually build was finally made in late autumn 2021.

The families around the two entrepreneurs Hermann Freiberger and Gustav Buchberger celebrated the 34 successful past years together and looked to the future with great motivation.

We celebrated this milestone on September 13, 2022 in the presence of ABF employees and many of the construction companies involved. During the topping-out ceremony, we were able to give employees an extensive insight into the new building under construction for the first time.
Over the next few weeks, the interior work in particular will progress rapidly in order to enable the move-in at the beginning of 2023.

The opening ceremony was attended by numerous guests.

From state-of-the-art office infrastructure and various meeting and co-working spaces to terraces that invite you to relax or work in the open air, everything has been thought of.
A new, prestigious entrance area transports visitors straight into the world of industrial digitalization, while cosy retreat areas for employees provide the perfect setting for pleasant working conditions.
ABF 3 was fully integrated with the existing building sections ABF 1 and ABF 2 as well as the existing warehouse and forms the final section on the site in Südpark.
The company’s own biotope will be retained, will continue to provide a home for various animals in the future and underlines the environmental protection aspect of the extension.
