Principle object of the project SPMS (SchieneProduktionsplanungs- und Materialverfolgungs- System) wasto establish systems to ensure continuous operations and support exceptional product quality, starting with a production planning system, material tracking system, an automation system for the mills’ finishing lines, and a control system for the storage yards. ABF’s solution covers all operations, from production planning and operations scheduling, material tracking and routing, complete process control and optimization, as well as storage control. The solution also offers comprehensive data acquisition, tool management, quality assurance, visualization, and reporting as well as fully integration into company IT.
