Principle object of the project DPMS (Draht Produktionsplanungs- und Materialverfolgungs- System) wasto establish systems to ensure continuous operations and support exceptional product quality, starting with a material tracking system, an automation system for the mills’ finishing lines, and a control system for the storage yards. Today, ABF’s solution covers all operations, from detailed production planning to operations scheduling, material tracking and routing, complete process control and optimization, as well as storage control. The solution also offers comprehensive tool management, quality assurance, visualization, and reporting.

DPMS consists of the following subsystems:
