Project:Quality- and Production Management System for strip metal rolling plant
 

The goal of the project is to support the entire final production area by a state-of-the-art MES. Main objectives of the system are the administration of order data and production confirmations, direct binding of the rack control system and a sophisticated quality data acquisition system with a high sampling rate. System basis for the development are the two Manufacturing integration tools SAP MII and ABF OneBase. SAP MII (Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence) provides substantial components for the binding of SAP ERP and peripheral equipment, as well as a modern application server infrastructure. ABF OneBase is used for the high-performance data sampling and process visualization.
